About the Founder

Praevenio was founded by Casey Morganelli, a cybersecurity executive with more than 15 years of experience helping organizations manage security, privacy, compliance, and risk in highly regulated environments.

Casey holds a PhD in Information Security and maintains several industry-recognized certifications, including CISSP, CISM, CIPP/US, and CIPM. Throughout his career, he has led enterprise security programs, overseen regulatory compliance initiatives, and helped organizations navigate complex requirements such as HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and other security frameworks.

As generative AI adoption accelerated across healthcare, Casey recognized a growing challenge: organizations were embracing powerful AI technologies faster than they could govern them. Employees were using AI tools, autonomous agents were gaining access to sensitive systems, and healthcare organizations lacked visibility into how protected data was being exposed, shared, or processed.

Praevenio was created to solve that problem.
